So, writers are readers too. I love to read. But I don't always have a lot of time to do it. I'm looking for something amazing. I don't care what genre of romance it is as long as it's amazing, but I'm looking for something that will really blow my socks off. I want to read some fantasy or amazing paranormal, however, if it's really great I'll read anything. But not by a big name, I want to meet someone new.
Any ideas???
And if you're a writer and feel like pimping your book, let me know. Give me some ideas, I'll pick my favorite and if I really love it, I'll spotlight it on my blog!
Let me know and happy reading!

I don't know if it will blow your socks off but I have been enjoying Flirts! by Lisa Scott. She has several books out but the first one is free and it's just called Flirts! They have 5 stories that are connected and they are short and easy to read.
There is more about them on my blog.

Thanks ladies. I'm loading down my kindle as we speak! :p
My Familiar Stranger : Order of the Black Swan by Victoria Danann, I got the books for free from Amazon, they go free periodically. It is a good mix of fantasy and romance. They were pretty interesting.
So I find finished all the kingdom books : fav'd, of course,on my kindle and my computer. And I got to say---what about the huntsman?
I found myself really enjoying books by CP Ching & Chanda Hahn & Nicky Charles & Marsha Canham & Trisha Marie Dawson & Angela White & Abbi Gline & Rachel Astor & Angela Stephens.
Looking back through kindle & iBooks those were the ones that caught my eye that I remember really liking. Have fun! I hope you find a good one! :)
Wow, you guys gave me some great suggestions and I've checked them all out! I will be busy for a while. :)
So, I'm not sure if this qualifies as a big name or not, but I've really been enjoying the Magic Bites series by Ilona Andrews. Lots of kicking ass & some flirtation that leads to major sexy times.
Also, I'm really curious about the epub cover of Her Mad Hatter, the one with the guy in the vest and the Asian woman in the top hat. I'm wondering if you designed the cover yourself or hired someone to do it, because the guy looks just like someone who has modeled for my drawing class & I'm dying to know if it's actually him. ;) I can't get this page to accept my Wordpress ID, but I'm elizabethmwilley.wordpress.com
I really loved the intricate storytelling in the Haunting series by Erin Quinn. Starts with Haunting Beauty. Complex story with fascinating characters.
Haunting Beauty is such a cool sounding title, I'll have to check it out! :D
Elizabeth, I'm noticing my response back to you never posted. Which is weird, but... if you want to contact the photographer who did his shots go to www.hotdamndesigns.com she's the one who photographed him. I didn't design the cover either, so I really have no clue who the model is. Also Ilona is like Queen of the UF... she's kinda huge, but I love her!! :p
Heather killough-walden is one of my favorite indie authors any book is good i promise you will not be disappointed.
Cool, thanks! :D
BOUND by Nicky Charles
BOUND by blood by Tracey Jackson

Thanks, Marie! I'm having trouble posting too. Oh well. Best wishes! Elizabeth
Thank you, Kimberly! I've downloaded a few already! :p
Your quite welcome :D all are books (like yours) that I could not put down.
*blushes*
Psy-changeling series by Nalini Singh is fabulous. After Sundown series by Eden Robins has all kinds of paranormal beings, even gargoyles. Coreene Callahan's Dragonfury series is riveting. The Iron Seas series by Meljean Brook is well done and different. Dark Protector series by Rebecca Zanetti is exceptional. The Immortal Von B by M. Scott Carter will knock your socks off...and a sequel is slated for early next year--can't wait! Can't go wrong with Katie MacAlister's Dark Ones series; anything paranormal by Janet Chapman; Vikings series 1 and 2(woot!) by Sandra Hill; ANYTHING by Shelly Laurenston (or her alter ego G. A. Aiken) for laugh out loud with a side of reality; Shifters Unbound series by Jennifer Ashley is breathtakingly wonderful and heartrendingly poignant. For something a little different: Demons Unleashed series by Lisa Alder rocks; Bloomington series by Kathy L. Wheeler is wonderful; Biting Love series by Mary Hughes outrageous; Once Upon a Time-Travel by Jill Myles great; Dance 'N' Love series by Roy Street and Alicia Street satisfying; Dark Lands series (or anything) by Autumn Dawn; Shawdowlands (about Goblins!) series by Shona Husk. For exceptional women's literature: Virgin River series by Robyn Carr; anything by RaeAnne Thayne; The Sherbrookes of Newport series by Christina Tetreault.
Thanks for letting me share. I know I've forgotten some authors, but these will give you a start.
I gave The Mad Hatter a 5-star review, and purchased the rest of the Kingdom series this week! Guess what I'm doing in my limited time?
O and any thing by Mercedes Lackey! Hers are a hoot.
Judy! That's awesome. :p Thanks, and wow you gave me quite a list. I have actually read a few of them. Loved Shona Husk's!
Kimberly, Mercedes is my girl. I have her stuff from back in the 70's, die hard Lackey fan. ;)
