A call out to all my little songbirds out there

Can you write songs? Would you like to write one for Tor???? I ask because while I can write a book, I'm very willing to admit that writing a song is a whole 'nother story. So contest time... wanna be included in the credits of Tor and Jaime's story, write a song. If I love the lyrics, I'll put it in the book! :D

And since I know you need to be inspired to create here are a few facts about these two crazy lovebirds...

ATTN readers, need some help

I actually do enjoy looking up fun facts of character background, but I thought this might be a fun time to ask you readers for help.

If you've read Right Now, then you've met Tor my Viking throwback and he's uber sexy, don't believe, look at the picture ;)

So here's my question to you. I'm still debating whether to make him from Sweden or Norway, so anyone who knows anything about either culture, I'd love to hear some feedback from you. Either here, or to my personal addy mariehallwrites@gmail.com What are popular foods there? Popular music? Some Norse mythology would be great. Maybe even a few words, terms of endearments used there. Gah, I love that sexy Viking and I want you all to love him too, so anything to offer would be great.

IT'S COMING!!!

I leaned my head back and thought about the boy who was no longer really a boy.

Alex was a man.

And a tall, really tall, one at that.

The moment I’d seen him walk through the door, my heart had constricted. Painfully. It’d taken me a second to catch my breath. I’d dreamed about him all through high school, watched as he took one girl after another out around town.

I doubted he remembered the girl working the popcorn counter at the theater, but every weekend there was always a new girl on his arm, a new girl kissing him and rubbing her horny little body all over his, and it was a miracle my teeth hadn’t become filed points as much as I’d ground them together.

And maybe it shouldn’t surprise me that he didn’t have a clue who I was; I no longer looked even remotely similar to the girl who’d graduated valedictorian of J.J. Baines High.

My fingers twitched as I remembered the feel of his body in my fist. He was big, and so damn hard my thighs had trembled.

Fire and static and electricity and whatever other chemical combustion had detonated inside me. I’d gone from zero to horny in two seconds the moment he’d walked in.

His hair had glinted so many different shades of blond, from white to burnished bronze, and all I wanted to do was touch it, run my fingers through it, wondering all the while if it was as soft as it'd looked. 

One look into eyes that made me think of a sky right after a storm and I could no longer control myself.

She's pretty adorable isn't she?!?! I loves her. The cute guy holding her is my oldest and he named her Ruby Leilani, I don't know about anyone else, but that boy looks pretty darn happy. :p

Help me out readers

So, writers are readers too. I love to read. But I don't always have a lot of time to do it. I'm looking for something amazing. I don't care what genre of romance it is as long as it's amazing, but I'm looking for something that will really blow my socks off. I want to read some fantasy or amazing paranormal, however, if it's really great I'll read anything. But not by a big name, I want to meet someone new.

Any ideas???
